Putting The Midori Traveler’s Notebook To Use For Productivity

I recently, over Christmas, picked up a Midori Traveler’s Notebook and having been using it daily since.

While I usually push for function over form, I’m a fan of having a nice notebook or other physical method of taking notes and brainstorming. Why’s that? Well, if it’s something you enjoy having around and don’t mind carrying with you, you will be much more likely to use it regularly and to have it on you when you need it most. So, from that point of view I decided to give this a shot – I’ll be honest, nobody NEEDS this notebook!

First Thoughts

I really like using it, especially after putting a few notebooks in it. The elastic that keeps it shut has a knot in the back and with only one notebook it can create a bit of a bump when writing. After popping in a couple notebooks this is barely noticeable.

I really like the way it looks and feels – I like having it with me, so guess what – I have it with me when I need it!

There are a lot of notebooks available (or “refills”) available for different types of setups: blank pads, monthly schedulers, lined pads, etc. This helps make the notebook more versatile while still offering some help in organization.

Right now I would say that this feels like a keeper, but I’ll give it a few more months and see how it’s going before I give a final verdict!
