The original video about Shift 2.0 was recorded about 8 months ago and since that time I’ve received many questions about how the apps actually look and work. Since it’s been a while I wanted to record an update and show exactly how the program looks and feels along with some of the good updates that they’ve added.
First off – as with all programs, software, and tools, it’s about finding out if it will fit into your workflow and how it will save you time, make you faster, or diminish distractions. Keep in mind that this is different for everyone – you might love this app while it just wouldn’t work for someone else!
So, what’s the good news?
There’s been ongoing updates in the last 8 months and many new browser extensions are available. When launched, the only extensions were Grammarly and Boomerang. You can now also use:
- Collabspot
- Dropbox for Gmail
- GoToMeeting
- HubSpot Sales
- LastPass
- Mailtrack
- MixMax
- PDF Viewer
- Todoist for Gmail
- Zoom Scheduler
The apps list is fairly lengthy – you can see them all here: https://productivity.academy/shift2apps
I recommend watching the video and thinking about how you would put this tool to work for yourself. If you think that it would end up saving you time, then the yearly fee makes sense – it really only needs to save you a few minutes a day for it to make sense. If you’re ready to give it a shot, get started here.
