How to backup and export your data from roam research
Glad that you’re interested in backing up your data – whether it’s for the peace of mind knowing that no matter what happens with Roam you’ll have access to your data, or you’re looking to migrate your data to somewhere else you can follow these steps and get an export in many formats.

steps to Export from Roam research
- Click on the 3 dots in the top right of any page in your Roam Research account
- Select Export for exporting a single page (that you are currently on)
- OR, Select Export All to export your entire database
- Choose the format you want the export to be in
- When the popup appears, choose where you want to save the data
