Episode 11 – Building A Productive Future: Jordan Baker & Focuster
In this episode of the Real World Productivity Podcast, I’m talking to the founder of Focuster, Jordan Baker. With a long history of programming and operating at high levels of efficiency, it’s an interesting look into how someone can push themselves to get so much done, but in the end, no matter how “good” we are, we have to start creating systems and processes to help ourselves continue to grow.
Jordan took this one (or several!) steps further than most of us, and created a great todo app called Focuster, which helps you plan out your time in conjunction with the online calendar that you are already using in order to smartly and automatically schedule your remaining time and tasks into the actual time available.
If you haven’t already checked out Focuster, you can see my initial Focuster review here and some more details on using it here. It’s a powerful app available for both iOS and Android users can get along well via the responsive web page – which is how I use it.
